My Story
Hello, I’m Krista!
Starting as a young girl, I developed the stories that I was “too much” and “not enough.” As a result of these lenses, experiences, relationships, and institutions I was involved in led to a lack of self-acceptance, love, and compassion.
As a young adult, I realized that I wasn’t equipped with the tools to handle these wounds in a healthy way. I began collecting tools that helped me learn who I am, celebrate who I am, and love myself. These tools helped me to live a full life grounded in my worthiness, joy and abundance. For me, those tools include a twelve-step program, multiple therapy modalities, creative art expression, spiritual companionship, journaling and embodiment practices like yoga, meditation, and dancing.
With all of these tools in hand, I experienced new levels of awareness, compassion, freedom, self-love, and wholeness. They helped me rebuild a foundation of strength that I continue to grow from and allow me to connect to the Love within and in others. Now, I’m a mentor and companion to help others find the right tools on their journey to wholeness. To live deeply connected to Love.
As a depth coach, I support clients across multiple modalities to understand their stories and themselves so they can embrace healing and wholeness. I believe that healing work should be approached with curiosity and joy. Even though our depth work often unveils our wounds and grief, I believe that openness and creative play are essential parts of our healing. Learning to be rooted in gratitude and love in the fullness of life and ourselves is one of our greatest invitations.
I wear many hats with joy and passion, serving as a Creative Depth Coach, yoga instructor, JourneyCircle™ facilitator, Moon Circles Guide and retreat leader. I also serve as the owner of an event planning company.
Outside of professional pursuits, I find hope and inspiration in my connection to the Beloved, especially when journaling, gardening, practicing yoga, hiking, reading, connecting with others and painting. I love spending time with my two adult children, exploring around Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and golden retriever and being an active member of my community.
Above all else, I love people and want to spend my days walking alongside others - creating safe spaces for them to make courageous choices on their journey to wholeness.
